3-day trip

Three days in Singapore: one base, three districts and the bay

A first Singapore trip that stays central, moves by MRT and keeps one evening for the waterfront instead of turning every landmark into a timed booking.

Three days is a stopover, not a tour, and the way to make it work is to refuse the second base. Sleep once, in Chinatown or Little India, and let the MRT do the moving: no journey in this itinerary takes more than twenty-five minutes, and the transfers between districts cost less than a coffee. The budget shown is a mid-range figure for three days on the ground and is dominated by the room, not the eating.

Only one thing here needs deciding in advance. If you want the cooled conservatories at the gardens or a timed observation deck, book those for the specific afternoon and treat everything else as walkable. The outdoor gardens, the waterfront loop and all three districts are free, so a downpour costs you nothing but the order of the day.
