Bohol is the most forgiving island in the country to travel. The fast craft from Cebu takes about two hours into Tagbilaran, Panglao is twenty minutes further by road across the causeway, and from that one base you can reach a reef in the morning and the interior after lunch. Nothing here demands a second flight.
The Chocolate Hills are a genuine geological oddity and a thirty-second view, so build the inland day around the rest of it: the Loboc river, the Rajah Sikatuna forest, and the tarsiers seen at a sanctuary that keeps them wild rather than a roadside cage. Underwater is where Bohol earns its reputation, and Balicasag's wall and turtles are the reason many people book the island in the first place.
